GETTING TIRED BUT SATISFIED IN BUKITTINGGI PART 2: JAPAN CAVE (WITH INDONESIAN TRANSLATION)

Hello there! I hope you're doing fun and ready for your holiday! 😂 In this page, I'm gonna continue my story about getting tired in Bukittinggi. Maybe the most tired part will be in part 3 but you have to read it first. So the next destination after Panoramic view of Ngarai Sianok is Japan Cave!! I'm not gonna tell you the entire history of it, it's just based on what I remember and what I love about Japan Cave

Just like I told you before, that Japan Cave enter way is on panoramic view, so if you wanna enter it then you have to enter and pay from Panoramic View ticketing. Then there are some signs that gonna lead you to the cave mouth. Make sure to take a picture before entering the cave! If your position is right, then all the way go down the cave will be shown in your picture. Oh and about the guide, if you wanna know the history well then pay the guide. He will tell you the price, it's about 100.000 rupiahs or something, but it's worth it because I can't tell you that long history here lol. The guide will lead you in and show you every corridors, every corners, every sides of this cave
This is us in the mouth of cave. Well the end of the stairs weren't shown up 😂

The stairs that brought me down there are so many, I didn't exactly count those anyway lol. You have to be careful when you go down there because the stairs are thin, so watch your steps! When you arrive the base, you'll see many corridors. Each corridor has their own function. There's a bedroom corridor, kitchen corridor and many more, I'm sorry I didn't remember it well. All I know that our soldiers lived there, the Japanese brought them there and once our soldiers entered that cave, then they'd never go out alive:( There are some holes that used to be a door to go out or in and to throw the dead bodies/corpses, that's too creepy!!
This is us in one of the corridors

This is one of those hole, so small isn't it?

This is a hole that end up with cliff. So this was used for throwing corpses (If my memory's right 😂)

So in this picture, there are two holes. The up one and the bottom one (near my mom's leg). The up one was used to enter this cave and the bottom one was used to throw corpses too.

This cave was built so cleverly by Japanese people. They'd counted about how strong it is, how it can't be broken by earthquake, how there's no sound can be heard from this cave when you're outside, and many specific things more about the safety. The cave was formed by some stones and soils that will make this cave strong from the shake, even those materials will make the cave stronger when rain comes, isn't that too cool??!!
This is granite, one of the material of this cave

Actually, the stairs that bring you down there were also the stairs that bring you up outside the cave. But there's another option to get out from that cave. A big hole well now is just a door in the end of main corridor will bring you out. I choosed that way because I wanna go to the next place. Wanna know about the next place? Stay tuned because that's the most tired part of being in Bukittinggi 😂

Halo!

Setiap lorong punya fungsinya masing-masing.
