VISIT RIAU ISLAND: THREE ISLANDS IN A DAY

So I was in Riau archipelago about a year ago, took an exploration about those islands. Just in a day I could visit 3 islands. So it started from Batam Island where I stayed, with a not-too-small-but-not-too-big ship I went to Bintan Island. Bintan Island has two city, Tanjung Pinang and Tanjung Uban. If you wanna explore both, it's totally okay but you need a lot of times so I was just exploring some places and the most important is eating gonggong (a kinda snail)! Tanjung Pinang is a capital city of Riau archipelago, sooo it's just another kinda city you know, like many government buildings, etc. But the thing is Tanjung Pinang doesn't have a flat ground like Batam, it's a hill so the highway is small and turns turn so I got a little bit dizzy πŸ˜‚

The not-too-small-but-not-too-big ship that took me from Batam to Tanjung Pinang

The building behind me is shaped as a gonggong or a special snail from Tanjung Pinang!

Before I was taking a trip around Tanjung Pinang,  I immediately went to the third island, Penyengat Island with a small traditional boat called pompong. Penyengat Island has a history about kingdom, a ruler kingdom of Riau archipelago. King Ali Haji is one of the famous king from this kingdom. So if you wanna know more about Riau Kingdom, you should go to this historical island! This island is not too wide just 2 ha but the town was smaller so you can have a ride to go around this island

This is us when we were on pompong. we have to wear a life vest for our security

This masjid is called Masjid Raya Sultan Riau, the one which's left from Riau Kingdom

After I was done exploring Penyengat and Bintan Islands, I took a ship back to Batam Island, the last schedule was in afternoon so you should manage your time well if you wanna go back to Batam. Batam is my favorite place over Tanjung Pinang and Penyengat because it has many places to shop import stuffs (this is the most important πŸ˜‚), have a culinary like ayam bawang️, anambas noodle πŸ’š, luti gendang πŸ’› or seafoods, and also relax and just enjoy holiday like costarina (a beach), balerang bridge, etc. And alsooo my favorite about being in Batam is I could see Singapore clearly! (if you choose the right spot or hotel room)

Jumping in Costarina lol

That's Balerang Bridge, the signature bridge from Batam

So that's it, that's all I can share about having a trip to 3 islands in a day! Hope you enjoy it:)
