PEKANBARU TRAVELLING TIPS: WHAT YOU HAVE TO DO WHEN YOU'RE IN PEKANBARU

Soo, I wanna give you some tips of what you have to do if you're stopped by in Pekanbaru!

Pekanbaru is the capital city of Riau and as a capital, of course it's just a city with many offices. I bet you, Pekanbaru is boring 

So here some tips so you don't have to feel bored when you're in Pekanbaru!

1. You have to do a CULINARY HUNT! Especially if that's your first time to be in Sumatra, you really have to taste its local food. The most local food I love is telur barendo and patin curry.️ You can find its local foods by searching in Google cause I don't really remember the places *sorry lol*

2. You also have to go to traditional market called Pasar Bawah! There are some typical stuffs, like songket fabric, metalic brooch, until some import foods from Malaysia. This is the right place for you to buy some souvenirs 

3. My last tip is you can go to some masjids just like I did! Why should I recommend you this? Because the fact is Sumatra has many beautiful masjids. My favorite masjids in Pekanbaru are An Nur and Namira

This one is Masjid An Nur, the most famous and biggest masjid in Riau Province

This one is my favorite! This masjid's called Masjid Namira

4. If you think that my last three tips don't work well and you're still bored, maybe you should have:

🔹A 3 hours trip to beautiful Kampar (seems like Raja Ampat)

🔹A 2.5 hours trip to Siak Castle

🔹A 2.25 hours trip to Pelalawan or 3 hours trip to Duri (where you can see palm oil forest all over the street )

I told you, we can see this sea of palm oil forest

🔹A 4.5 hours trip to Dumai

🔹A 4.25 hours trip to Kelok 9 ️
